Investments in this area will accelerate in the coming years, as shown in\u00a0July 2020 report\u00a0“Global Smart Factory Industry<\/a>“.\u00a0Global Smart Factory market will reach US$218.4 Billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 7% over the analysis period 2020-2027.\u00a0Control Equipment & Software is projected to grow at a 7.5% CAGR to reach US$97.4 Billion by the end of the analysis period. After an early analysis of the business implications of the pandemic and its induced economic crisis, growth in the Reporting & Analysis Software segment is readjusted to a revised 8% CAGR for the next 7-year period.
